In Nigeria Multi choice popularly known as dstv (although others such as mytv, hitv, multitv, infinitytv are dstv) and hitv transmit to Eutesat W4 which is located in the east; mytv transmit to intesat also located in the east; infinity tv and multi tv transmit to astra 2ABD which is also positioned in the east.
Presently, dstv is having promo. Their complete system is N 9, 000:00. You will however have to subscribe a month in addition to the N 9, 000:00. Their monthly subscription varies from N 1, 500:00 to N 9, 500:00. Dstv as a service provider in Nigeria has the largest number of channels and is usually in high demand. This however makes the demand for dstv far greater than their supply because of their promo.
Hitv also is having promo. Their complete system is N9, 000: 00. You will subscribe N3, 500:00 in addition to the N9,000:00 also. This is also in high demand but you can easily get their product in any of their dealers. They have the right to show the latest Yoruba Movies. You can also subscribe for N1,900:00 but you view fewer channels of the hitv.
Mytv Selling Price depends on the strong decoder you want to use. If you are using 4663 Strong decoder, the price will cheaper than when you are using the latest high definition 4669 strong decoder which you can use to receive any channels from the different satellite. Their monthly subscription is N1,900.00.
Multitv based in Ghana is broadcasting free. Infinity tv based in Nigeria is also still broadcasting free. You can use their decoder or the high definition 4669 strong decoder to receive their signal.
Any ku dish can however be used for every of dstv explained above.
